May 6th Quilting

Post date: May 27, 2014 12:16:08 AM

Dear Quilters,

What a beautiful, bright, warm spring day for our first "MAY DAY" of quilting/meeting, with 19 quilters/ embroiderers "sit 'n stitch 'n"! And once again, another LOST pattern, we're reciting... "OH, where? OH!, where? can the bear print be?" for S's black bear quilt?

MAY QUILT REPORT: 15 quilts are finished, 5 of which are sold but not yet paid for; 6 quilts are in-progress, being quilted; two more quilt tops were sewn this week (cross-stitch ducks and baseball diamond which is already sold!), for a total of 31 quilt tops now available and ready for quilting; PLUS, the second PANSYquilt and the BIG, wedding quilt. So, WE NEED you 'all to "be nimble and be quick" STITCHING, that is (NOT jumping over the candle stick, the apple pie or sky)!

Blessings with stitching to fill up your day.

Blessings for friendship and humor to pave the way.

Blessings of good health and happiness to stay.

Blessings to you on Mother's Day in May!
