The 19 of us preserved in the beautiful, warm, humid, summer day, and faithfully kept stitching, despite all the aromas of the great food being prepared for the Soup Lunch.
Quilters, asking P~L~E~A~S~E, to take care when clipping thread on the quilts!!!!! Now, a 4th quilt top has been clipped, making extra work to repair and camouflage the tear. Don't point the tip of the scissors toward quilt. Pull the thread up to clip, leave the tread tail extending and showing, it is easy to hide later. Bring your thoughts or suggestions to discuss next week. Thanks to J, she is embroidering a small heart (like the "Care Bear" heart logo) on the breast cancer quilt to cover up/close the hole. Added 3 more quilt tops this week: the Kitty Cats, M. embroidered, the 3 Little Pigs and the Razorback HOGS, M. embroidered. Glad to have E back, and she even finished quilting Sunbonnet Sue quilt she'd taken home!
